This Refund Policy covers all paid Services offered by P9NW doing business as Storyverse Systems, including membership subscriptions, Framework Packages, Starter Kits, and any other digital products sold through storyversesystems.com or related subdomains.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. Where this policy differs from a specific promotional offer, a signed agreement, or a statutory right in your jurisdiction, the more customer-favorable terms apply.
Our paid memberships (Explorer, Navigator, Architect, Master Cartographer) are billed monthly on a recurring basis through our payment processor. They work like most software subscriptions:
You can cancel at any time from your member dashboard. Cancellation stops future billing. Your membership remains active until the end of your current billing cycle, giving you full access to what you paid for.
Because memberships are billed in full monthly increments, we do not provide prorated or partial-month refunds for cancellations mid-cycle. If you cancel on day 3 of a 30-day billing cycle, you still have access through day 30.
If your payment method was charged in error, if you were double-billed, or if your cancellation did not process correctly, email jdavis@storyversesystems.com with your order details and we will investigate and refund any errors promptly.
For your very first paid month of any membership tier, if you contact us within 7 days of the initial charge and have not substantively used the Services beyond basic exploration, we will refund the charge in full as a one-time courtesy. This trial refund is limited to one membership tier and one occurrence per customer.
Our Framework Packages (Maple Creek, The Prometheus Protocol, The Shattered Throne, and any future packages) and Starter Kits are one-time digital purchases delivered immediately upon payment.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all Framework Packages and Starter Kits. If the product does not meet the quality and scope described on its sales page, contact us within 14 days of your purchase for a full refund.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
Upon refund, your commercial license to use the refunded materials terminates. You are not required to delete your local copies, but continued commercial use of the materials after refund constitutes copyright infringement, and we reserve the right to enforce the terminated license if such use is later discovered.
Exchanges between products are available only if no files from the original purchase have been downloaded. Our delivery system logs download activity for every purchase. Once any file has been accessed, the purchase is considered consumed and the only available remedy is a refund under the 14-day guarantee.
To request an exchange, email us before downloading any files from your purchase. We will cancel the original order, issue a refund, and provide instructions to complete the replacement purchase.
To prevent buy-and-return abuse, customers who receive a refund are temporarily blocked from making new purchases on our site for 30 days from the refund date. This block is enforced at the payment processing level and does not affect your account access, membership status, site access, or content you have already downloaded — it only prevents new purchases during the block period.
Exception for active members. Customers with an active paid membership (Explorer, Navigator, Architect, or Master Cartographer) are exempt from the 30-day purchase block while their membership remains active. If the membership ends (through cancellation or non-payment), the exception also ends, and the block applies to any future refund requests made as a non-member.
Our free Fiction Framework samplers and our free account tier have no charge and therefore no refund applies.

If we are unable to deliver a product or service you paid for because of a technical failure on our end (failed download, missing files, broken checkout, extended outage affecting access), contact us and we will either deliver the product or refund you in full, at your choice. Time limits for service-failure refunds do not apply — if we broke it, we fix it. The 30-day purchase block in Section 3 does not apply to service-failure refunds.
If you dispute a charge with your bank or credit card company instead of contacting us first, we will:
We always prefer to handle refunds directly — email us first. Chargebacks cost both of us time and money that could have been saved with a simple email.
If you purchased a Package or membership as a gift for another person, refund eligibility follows the same policies above, and refunds are issued to the original purchaser, not the recipient.
If you purchased a bundle that combines multiple products and request a refund for only part of the bundle, we will refund the prorated price of the specific product based on its individual listed price.
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Last updated date at the top. Policy changes apply to purchases made after the effective date of the change. Purchases you already made are governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
