Is Navigator Right for You?

Navigator is for writers who are done browsing and ready to build. Three kinds of people land here most often.

1
The First-Series Writer

You're planning a trilogy or an ongoing series. You need tools that track characters across books, keep continuity airtight, and scale with your ambition instead of breaking at book two.

§
The Methodology Mixer

You've tried Save the Cat, the Hero's Journey, and the Seven-Point — and found each works for different kinds of stories. You want to see your plot against multiple frameworks at once and pick the right one per project.

The Lore-First Author

You're the writer who has a sixty-page world bible before chapter one. You need a real home for your lore, locations, and character histories — connected, searchable, and always at hand.

Everything You Need to Write the Series

Navigator turns the platform from tour to toolkit. Every feature in Explorer, plus full creative control over your own Storyverse.

Storyverse Forge — Full Create & Edit

Build your own Storyverse from scratch. Create, edit, and connect stories, characters, series, subseries, scenes, and lore. Every field, every relationship, every entry — yours to shape. Unlimited records at Navigator tier.

Structure Library — Applied to Your Stories

All 19 methodologies — and now you can use them. Tag your stories with Save the Cat beats, Hero's Journey stages, or Seven-Point anchors. See where your plot is structurally strong and where it's weak.

Beat Comparison ToolNew at Navigator

The distinctive Navigator-level feature. Lay your plot side-by-side against multiple story structures simultaneously. See which framework fits best, where your beats align, and where you're breaking from convention on purpose.

Map Bookmarks, Notes & Saves

Interactive access to Nova Drift and the Arena. Pin canon locations that matter to your story. Add private notes to worlds, systems, and regions. Build a personal map of everywhere your fiction lives.

Expanded Lore Layers

Click any canon pin on Nova Drift or the Arena and unlock the connected lore entry — deeper history, cultural notes, and worldbuilding context reserved for Navigator tier and above.

Everything in Explorer

You keep the read-only demo Storyverse as reference, the complete Structure Library, all three Fiction Framework samplers, The Story Architect newsletter, and full platform access — now with every restriction lifted.

Navigator-Level Seasonal Offers

Quarterly and holiday discount codes on every Fiction Framework package — deeper discounts than Explorer tier. Coupons valid for 7 days. Members-only pricing on every release.

No Contracts, Cancel Anytime

Monthly billing. One-click cancellation. Upgrade to Architect when you're ready for galaxy creation, RPG sheets, and member discounts on every Fiction Framework package — or step down to Explorer if you need to. No penalty either direction.

Navigator FAQ

What's the difference between Explorer and Navigator?
Explorer is read-only — you see how a fully built Storyverse works but can't create your own records. Navigator unlocks full create-and-edit across every Forge table, adds the Beat Comparison tool, gives you map bookmarks and private notes, and unlocks expanded lore layers on canon maps. Explorer is the tour. Navigator is the toolkit.
What's the Beat Comparison tool?
It's the feature that defines Navigator tier. Lay your plot out once, then overlay it against any of the 19 story structures in the Library — Save the Cat, Hero's Journey, Seven-Point, Story Circle, Three Act, and so on. Compare them side-by-side to see which framework your plot naturally fits, where you're diverging on purpose, and where structural reinforcement will strengthen the story.
Is there a limit on how many stories or characters I can create?
No practical limit at Navigator tier. Track a standalone novel, a trilogy, a long-running series — or your entire bibliography across multiple pen names. The database scales with you.
Can I import existing work from spreadsheets or other tools?
Yes. The Forge supports structured imports for stories, characters, series, and lore. If you've been tracking a project in Scrivener, Notion, Airtable, or a spreadsheet, you can bring that data in and keep building from there.
What's different about Architect?
Architect ($47/mo, available now) adds galaxy and region creation on the maps, character relationship mapping with visual graphs, RPG-style character sheets, scene-level methodology tagging, and duration-based member discounts on every Fiction Framework package — 10% off after a month, scaling to one free framework after a year. It's the tier for writers who want to build universes, not just stories.
Can I downgrade to Explorer if Navigator is too much?
Yes, any time. Downgrade from your dashboard. Your created records stay intact but become read-only — upgrade back whenever you want to resume editing. No data loss, no penalty.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Monthly billing with one-click cancellation. No contracts. No cancellation fees. 30-day refund policy on first-time signups. If you cancel, you have a 30-day grace period to export your data before it's removed.
